Montego Bay is the Caribbean’s foremost golfing destination.  With three fun yet challenging courses within 5 minutes of TLB and another course 45 minutes away, this is the perfect place to hold your next golf tournament or to play your very first 18 holes.

Cinnamon Hill Golf Course

Located 5 minutes from TLB, Cinnamon Hill is the most varied and scenic of the three local courses.  Named after the estate of Johnny Cash who, with his wife June, made Jamaica their second home, the front 9 and its wide open fairways takes you out and along the Caribbean Sea.  The more challenging back nine tests your skills and has something for music and Bond fans alike as you pass by Johhny Cash’s home and the waterfall from Live and Let Die.

Standard Rate (18 holes): $129.00
TLB Guest Rate: $40.00

Steps away from TLB, the Half Moon Golf Course is resort golf at its finest.  The track is flat and wide open.  The Robert Trent Jones Jr. layout and stiff ocean breezes still keeps things interesting.  After your round, stop by The 19th Hole for a traditional rum punch.

Standard Rate (18 holes): $164.00 – 204.00 (depending on season)

Half Moon Golf Course Hole Descriptions

The White Witch, Cinnamon Hill’s sister course, is home to some of the most amazing golf vistas in the Caribbean.  The opening hole is a dramatic tee shot into a massive ravine.  The remaining holes take full advantage of vast forests and rock formations to provide an incomparable experience punctuated by panoramic ocean views.  The course was hard hit by the coronavirus and presently opens only for six months out of the year from November through April

TLB Guest Rate: $40.00
Caddy (mandatory from 7a-10a): $20.00 + gratuity

Tryall sits on the other side of Montego Bay.  Spread out over a remarkably large area that has water on about one third of its holes, this course is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.  The course features two ocean holes on the front nine and an array of tricky blind shots.  While we do not have a membership at Tryall, we can arrange for you to play the course if you’d like to play all four local courses during your stay.
