Passports & Entry Forms
First and foremost, make sure your passport will be valid for at least 6 months past your return date. More than a few guests have had to pull out at the last minute because the neglected to check. A hassle for all involved.
Before you leave for Jamaica, take a moment and complete the electronic C5 Immigation form. It will allow you to get through customs faster and you can look smugly upon those who have to resort to the pen and paper method. You can complete this form up to 30 days before your arrival.
The link below will take you to the official site. This is a free service. DO NOT use any of the scam sites that ask you to pay $70 or more to do exactly what you can do in five minutes.
When you arrive at customs, they may ask you the name of the villa where you are staying. TLB is not registered for commercial use and there are about 5 similarly named commercial villas on the island, so just tell them that you’re staying at the private home of a friend.
On your C5, enter the following for your address in Jamaica:
52 Spring Farm Drive, Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica
